WOMEN’S EMPOWENMENT LOCAL LEADERSHIP

Purpose:

To enhance women’s political participation at both national and local levels, and to foster effective processes that increase women’s engagement and impact in politics and decision-making. This effort will contribute to gender equality, human rights, and the promotion of democratic, humane, and sustainable development based on these principles.

Our objective is to equip women elected to Citizens’ Representative Khural at the aimag (province), capital city, sum (district), and khoroo (sub-district) levels with collaborative leadership skills and to enhance their capacity for political influence.

Objectives:

• Enhance the political participation, leadership, and influence of women at the local level.
• Increase women’s involvement in local decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the representation and participation of women in the State Great Khural (Parliament) and local elections.
• Establish a network of trainers and mentors to support female candidates and campaign managers on topics such as political participation, human rights, gender equality, and collaborative leadership.
