Cake-Making Training Organised under the “Nomadic Mothers” Programme

A cake-making training was organised as part of the “Nomadic Mothers” Programme, creating a warm and creative space for participants to learn together, connect, and share experiences.

Held around International Women’s Day, the activity took place during a support group meeting facilitated by the Princess Centre. The session offered participating mothers an opportunity to spend time together in a relaxed and supportive environment while learning practical cake-making and decoration skills.

The training was supported by the Misheel’s Bakery team, who introduced participants to basic cake-making techniques and shared practical tips on decoration.

Beyond learning a new skill, the activity also reflected the broader purpose of the “Nomadic Mothers” Programme: to strengthen mutual support among women, create psychologically safe spaces, and expand opportunities for collective learning, self-development, and social participation.

The meeting provided participants with space not only to try something new, but also to connect with one another, exchange experiences, and strengthen relationships within the support group.

The “Nomadic Mothers” Programme is implemented by the MONFEMNET National Network, Princess Centre NGO, Beautiful Hearts Against Sexual Violence NGO, and Steps Without Borders NGO, with support from Thousand Currents.
